I'm a little slow at writing comments on my favorite artworks (OK, a "lot" slow). This was one painting that really caught my attention, and over the months, continued to do so as I viewed it repeatedly in my Message box. The faded colors you chose, the bent tree holding on to one or two leaves, the shadings, and the softness all combined to illustrate the quiet end of fall and the beginnings of a new winter. I think it's lovely.

Thanks Marilyn, most of my paintings live in my plan chest but this one is framed on my bedroom wall so I suppose that shows it means something to me. I think people identify with tree, we see something of our selves in them.
